Dublin Coffee and Tea Festival 2014

Remember the Dublin Coffee & Tea Festival that took place in September in the RDS over a balmy weekend in September? We sure do because it’s the first time we unveiled our new look to all of our customers. Have a look at the video below and let us know what you think.

The festival was 3 brilliant days all about coffee & tea. It was the first time that the Irish consumer had an opportunity to interact directly with manufacturers and see first-hand how coffee goes from a green bean to their cup. Java Republic Founder, David McKernan, was on hand on the People’s Stage to tell the audience the Java Republic story and also gave a few insights as to where he sees the coffee industry going in the coming years.

With over 10,000 people entering through the doors over the 3 days there’s no doubt that the event was a roaring success and something that should become a main stay of our industry. With Ireland hosting the World Barista Championships in 2016 this is undoubtedly the perfect appetiser to whet the public’s appetite for what is sure to be a huge event! Here’s to Coffee & Tea 2015!
